- Robust programming experience in TypeScript.
- Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, TestCafe, Cypress, Appium, or similar automation tools.
- Experience in API automation using REST Assured, Postman, Karate, or similar frameworks.
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Strong understanding of version control systems (Git).
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira and test management tools such as QTest.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Roles and Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable, and robust automated test frameworks.
- Develop automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, API, and UI testing.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers to understand requirements and define comprehensive test scenarios.
- Review user stories and acceptance criteria to identify automation opportunities and ensure testability.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
- Execute automated test suites, analyze test results, and report defects with detailed root cause analysis.




- Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot issues and validate bug fixes.
- Maintain and optimize automation frameworks to improve execution speed, stability, and maintainability.
- Develop and maintain API automation using tools/frameworks such as REST Assured, Postman, or equivalent.
- Ensure cross-browser, cross-platform, and compatibility testing where applicable.
- Monitor automation coverage and continuously improve test effectiveness and efficiency.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to test strategy, automation standards, coding guidelines, and best practices.
- Create and maintain automation documentation, test reports, and execution dashboards.
- Mentor junior automation engineers and share knowledge on automation frameworks and best practices.
- Support performance, security, and non-functional testing initiatives as required.
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort through automation and process improvements.
- Ensure quality gates are met before releases by maintaining high automation reliability and coverage.
