Duty Manager - The Hoxton Bengaluru City

Responsibilities

- Lead the day-to-day operation of the hotel during your shift, ensuring everything runs smoothly and our guests have an exceptional experience from arrival to departure.
- Be the key point of contact for guests, handling requests, feedback and service recovery with confidence, empathy and personality.
- Work closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage and Security teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration across the hotel.
- Take ownership of the overall guest journey by anticipating needs and resolving operational challenges before they impact the guest experience.
- Welcome VIPs, long-stay guests and special arrivals, ensuring every interaction feels personal and memorable.
- Complete regular hotel walkarounds to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, safety and brand standards are maintained.
- Support the Heads of Department in driving operational excellence and ensuring service standards are consistently delivered.
- Handle emergency situations calmly and professionally, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of guests and team members.
- Monitor daily operations, occupancy levels and guest feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Produce comprehensive shift reports and handovers, ensuring effective communication between operational teams.

- Strong understanding of Front Office operations and overall hotel operations.

- Calm under pressure with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Versatile to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in a dynamic hotel environment.
