Job Summary

We are looking for a General Cashier to join our energetic team for The Hoxton Bengaluru City.

Responsibilities

- Manage the hotels daily cash collections, including cash received from Front Office, Food & Beverage and other operating departments.
- Verify, reconcile and securely deposit all cash collections in accordance with company policies and internal controls.
- Maintain the hotel petty cash fund, process reimbursements and ensure all petty cash transactions are properly authorised and documented.
- Prepare daily cash reports, bank deposits and cash reconciliation statements, ensuring timely submission to the Finance department.
- Ensure all cash floats issued to operational departments are accurately recorded, balanced and replenished when required.
- Investigate and resolve cash discrepancies while maintaining complete supporting documentation.

- Previous experience as a General Cashier, Cashier or Finance Executive within a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Good knowledge of cash handling procedures, banking processes and financial controls.
- Experience with hotel financial systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong numerical, reconciliation and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
