Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

- Machine Upkeep: Maintain cold heading machines, nut formers, multi-station parts formers, thread rolling dies, and secondary automated sorting equipment. [1]

- Preventive Maintenance (PM): Run routine checks on hydraulic presses, pneumatic feeds, lubrication lines, and electrical control panels to stop unexpected failures. [1, 2, 3]

- Tooling & Die Support: Coordinate closely with tool rooms to align machine maintenance with die changes, setup adjustments, and tolerance checks.

- Team Leadership: Supervise multi-skilled technicians and mechanical fitters, assign daily work orders, and manage shift schedules. [1, 2]

- Spare Parts Control: Monitor inventory for high-wear components like grippers, cutter quills, punches, drive belts, and specialized bearings. [1, 2,

- Compliance & Safety:

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Experience: 5 to 10+ years in industrial manufacturing maintenance, with direct exposure to fastener or heavy metal-forming plants.

- Technical Knowledge: Robust background in hydraulics, pneumatics, heavy-duty mechanics, and CNC/ PLC troubleshooting.

- Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a certified vocational diploma in industrial maintenance.

- Software: Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and part lifespans
