PURPOSE
- Responsible for review of historic breakdowns, planned and corrective maintenance to develop improvements to equipment maintenance strategies to increase equipment availability and reliability and reduce total cost of ownership.
- Support the APMT Business Information solution, by developing and improving reports and KPIs for local terminal Asset Maintenance activities and contributing to the ongoing development and enhancements to Global AM reports and KPIs.
- Provide expert analytics for local terminal maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure quality of data in CMMS system through regular reviews
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES HEALTH SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL
- Contribute to maintaining a strong safety culture for all terminal activities.
- Provide reports to Global and Local teams on health, safety and environmental issues related to area of work; take corrective action wherever necessary.
PERFORMANCE/OPERATIONAL
- Measure Asset Maintenance costs and Key Performance Indicators, drive optimization
of the work management process.
- Monitor CMMS data quality, leading and organizing data cleanse campaigns to
terminals, where required.
STRATEGY
- Institutionalize user feedback loops into the standard specifications to ensure continuous improvement of terminal design.
- Develop and maintain master data strategy to standardize and improve the data in the
CMMS
ASSET INTEGRITY
- Engage with peers in the Global Asset Maintenance team, to lift the functional capabilities for Asset lifecycle: design, engineering, delivery & maintenance) as a whole.
PEOPLE/ COMMUNICATIONS
- Participate and contribute to the APMT network maintenance analytics community.
- Ensure clear communication with the internal clients.
- Build collaborative relationships with associated divisions and external parties.
- Ensure compliance with APM Group values and business principle.
COST MANAGEMENT
- Use data analytics to establish trends and relationships that enhance processes and focus areas to reduce the Asset Maintenance costs for APMT.
- Measure local terminal Asset Maintenance costs and drive optimization.
- Implement accurate Asset Maintenance costing standards and reports.
- Localize, implement and monitor global M&R; costing standards and reports.
REPORTING AND SCOPE
- The position reports to the Maintenance Planning Manager
- The scope of the position is based locally.

CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors degree in mechanical or electrical engineering to support the designated role.
- Proven experience in maintenance planning, analysis, and optimization preferably in Ports and terminals.
- Experience in a strong service-oriented environment requiring stakeholder-management skills.
- Extensive experience in maintenance analytics, utilizing data from digital systems such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and other sources to interpret complex data and identify trends.
- Excellent computer skills - including excel, word, power point, and IFS10.
- Understanding of Asset Maintenance metrics, principles, its processes, and requirements.
- Provide on-going suggestions and improvements to meet case requirements.
- Analyses and resolves implementation conflicts that could cause excessive downtime or introduce risk.
- Facilitates and supports change management review meetings to coordinate activities.
- Possess practical, analytical capabilities, and readiness to challenge the status quo.
- Understanding of (APMT used) software data systems and their interfaces.
- Demonstrate discipline in following through on actions and ensuring necessary documentation.
- Structured, driven, self-motivating, result orientated.
- High quality awareness and ability to work with constant care.
- Sensitivity to cultural diversity and experience in a multicultural environment, demonstrating respect for employees, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software tools.
- Good negotiation skills
- Influencing abilities to deal with people to gain support and cooperation.
- Professional certification in Planning, PMP, CMRP, and data analysis tools would be advantageous.
