TCS is hiring for Mainframe DB2 - Application Development

Experience Range - 4.5 to 10 years

Education - 15 years of full time education

Location - Chennai / Hyderabad

Required Technical Skill Set Mainframe, Cobol, JCL,VSAM, DB2

Interview Mode - Walkin Interview Must-Have · Hands-on experience working in Mainframe, Cobol, JCL, and VSAM

· Must be having positive knowledge of DB2 queries and COBOL-DB2 programming

· Experience in development, coding, and ability to work in high-volume capacity

· He/She should understand, follow standardized frameworks for Mainframe deliveries.

· Coordinate with clients, SMEs and other stakeholders at different stages of SDLC and acquire sign-offs and achieve results.

· Perform coding, unit testing, integration testing and maintain artefacts like defect logs.





· Follow standard processes to deploy into production and provide support.

· Finding solutions for bugs/issues and Error Handling in Mainframe.

· Mainframe technologies: TSO/ISPF, Cobol, JCL, DB2, VSAM

· Mainframe Tools: Endevor/Changeman, Expeditor, OPC, SDSF, SORT, File-Aid, FTP

· Good verbal and written communication skills, ability to work collaboratively across organisation.

· Proactive and self organized, ability to handle concurrent initiatives. Good-to-Have

· Integration of Automation framework with DevOPS pipelines.

· Knowledge of CICS, MVS, TAPE, DASD.

· Experience in Agile and Scrum project environment.

· Domain knowledge of Branch and Self service Banking/Retail.
