Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, test, and maintain complex COBOL programs for mainframe applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and implement solutions using VSAM/JCL.
- Troubleshoot issues related to CICS transactions and DBMS systems.
- Develop technical documentation for program changes and updates.
Job Requirements :
- 8-10 years of experience in mainframe development using COBOL language.
- Solid understanding of DBMS concepts and ability to work with various databases (e.g., IMS).
- Proficiency in developing JCL jobs for batch processing on mainframes.
- Experience with CICS transaction management system.
