Position Summary

Future Interns is inviting applications for the Machine Learning Intern position for the August 2026 internship cycle.

This internship is suited for individuals who have a foundational understanding of machine learning and are interested in applying their knowledge to structured project assignments. Interns will assist with data preparation, model development, evaluation, and documentation while collaborating with mentors and project teams.

Primary Responsibilities

- Assist in preparing datasets for machine learning tasks.
- Support data preprocessing, cleaning, and feature engineering activities.
- Contribute to the development and evaluation of machine learning models using Python.
- Work with machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch when assigned.
- Analyze model performance using appropriate evaluation metrics.
- Maintain technical documentation related to experiments and project activities.




- Participate in project discussions and contribute to continuous improvements.
- Follow established coding, documentation, and version control practices.

Required Qualifications

- Basic understanding of machine learning concepts.
- Familiarity with Python programming fundamentals.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage assigned work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Exposure to Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Familiarity with NumPy, Pandas, or related data processing libraries.
- Academic or personal machine learning projects are considered an advantage.
