Role & responsibilities

Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for driving excellence in supply chain operations by ensuring achievement of cost, quality, delivery, and supplier management objectives. The role will develop and execute sourcing strategies, build solid supplier partnerships, and optimize end-to-end supply chain performance to support aerospace manufacturing operations.

Key Objectives

- Develop and implement commodity-specific sourcing strategies.
- Drive supplier performance, cost optimization, and delivery excellence.
- Strengthen supplier engagement and long-term strategic partnerships.
- Manage supply chain activities across sourcing, procurement, logistics, negotiations, and supplier development.
- Support business growth through efficient and sustainable supply chain practices.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned commodities, including raw materials, engineered products, and aerospace components.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers aligned with organizational requirements.
- Lead commercial and contractual negotiations to achieve cost and service objectives.
- Ensure timely procurement to support production and customer delivery commitments.

Supplier Management & Development





- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance against quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness metrics.
- Drive supplier capability development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage supplier risk, compliance, and business continuity plans.

Logistics & Supply Chain Operations

- Oversee domestic and international logistics operations.
- Ensure compliance with import-export regulations and statutory requirements.
- Optimize inventory, transportation, and warehousing processes.
- Resolve supply disruptions and implement preventive measures.

Project & Stakeholder Management

- Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program Management teams.
- Support new product introductions and supplier development projects.
- Track and report key supply chain KPIs and improvement initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional efforts to improve operational efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile

Technical Knowledge

- Strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing supply chains.
- Engineering background in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Production disciplines.
- Knowledge of procurement systems and supply chain analytics.
- Familiarity with aerospace quality and supplier management processes.
