Role & responsibilities

- Conduct lab experiments as assigned by Senior Chemist.
- Handle routine sample preparation, analytical testing, and reporting.
- Ensure cleanliness and functionality of lab equipment.
- Follow SOPs for chemical handling, labeling, and disposal.
- Maintain laboratory records, calibration logs, and inventory of consumables.
- Escalate any deviations, nonconformances, or equipment failures immediately.
- Assist chemists and senior staff in basic lab operations and documentation.
- Learn and follow all lab safety protocols, GLP, and company procedures.
- Support sample preparation, cleaning, weighing, and basic testing under supervision.
- Update logs and assist with reagent labeling, storage, and retrieval.
- Participate in training sessions and handson assignments to build skills.
- Report all activities, issues,



or unsafe observations to mentors or supervisors.

Preferred candidate profile

- Education: M.Sc. in Chemistry (Mandatory).
- Experience: Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory instruments, analytical techniques, and chemical safety practices.
- Understanding of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and laboratory documentation is an added advantage.
- Candidates with exposure to the chemical or petrochemical industry will be preferred.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and work effectively in a team environment.
