Loco Operator/Diesel Locomotive Driver

Location: Andal Site, West Bengal

CTC: ₹15–20 monthly CTC

We are hiring an experienced Loco Operator / Diesel Locomotive Driver to safely operate diesel locomotives while ensuring compliance with railway safety standards and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate diesel locomotives safely as per railway signals, speed restrictions, and operating procedures.
- Monitor locomotive performance, track conditions, and signalling during operations.
- Conduct basic pre-operation inspections and report any faults or abnormalities.
- Maintain operational logbooks and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Respond effectively to operational emergencies and coordinate with the operations team.

Qualifications




- ITI (Mechanical/Diesel Mechanic/Fitter/Electrician) or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- 3–5 years of experience operating diesel locomotives.
- Experience with WDG3A, WDM3D, or WDS6ADT locomotives preferred.
- Medically fit as per Railway standards.

Salary: ₹15–20 monthly CTC (based on experience and competency). Interested candidates can share their updated CV along with educational, experience, competency (if applicable), and medical fitness certificates.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.37 per month
