Role Description

We are seeking a Litigation Associate to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis at our Rajkot office.

The role primarily involves assisting in Income Tax and GST litigation by drafting appeals, written submissions, replies to notices, rectification and revision applications, and other legal documents. The Litigation Associate will conduct legal research, analyze judicial precedents and statutory provisions, prepare case briefs, and assist in representing clients before tax authorities and appellate forums.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Drafting appeals, submissions, and responses under the Income Tax Act and GST laws.
- Conducting research on case laws, circulars,



notifications, and judicial pronouncements.
- Preparing documentation and case files for assessments, appeals, and hearings.
- Coordinating with Income Tax and GST authorities for filings, hearings, and procedural compliance.
- Assisting senior professionals in developing litigation strategies.
- Monitoring litigation timelines, statutory deadlines, and maintaining organized case records.
- Communicating effectively with clients regarding case progress and documentation requirements.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.) or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of the Income Tax Act, GST laws, and related procedural provisions.
- Ability to draft legal submissions, appeals, writ-related documentation, and other litigation documents with precision.
- Excellent legal research skills with the ability to interpret statutes and judicial precedents.
- Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters while meeting statutory deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research databases.
- Prior experience in Income Tax or GST litigation is preferred but not mandatory.
- Fresh graduates with a keen interest in tax litigation are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to work full-time in office in Rajkot.
