Job Role: Linux Device Driver Developer
Experience: 4-8 Years
Location: Bangalore
Required Skills
- 4-8 years of experience in Linux Device Driver Development.
- Strong programming skills in C.
- Hands-on experience with Linux Kernel, Linux Internals, and Kernel Architecture.
- Experience developing drivers for I2C, SPI, USB, PCIe, Ethernet, eMMC, Display, Camera, or similar interfaces.
- Good understanding of ARM or RISC-V processor architectures.
- Experience with BSP Bring-up, Bootloader, and U-Boot.
- Hands-on experience with Git, Yocto, and embedded Linux development.
- Experience using debugging tools such as JTAG, Signal Analyzers, and kernel debugging utilities.
- Ability to read and understand board schematics.
- Robust analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Linux Kernel Upstreaming or Open Source contributions is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Design,
develop, and debug Linux Device Drivers for embedded platforms.
- Develop drivers for interfaces such as I2C, SPI, USB, PCIe, Ethernet, eMMC, Display, Camera, and other peripherals.
- Work on Linux Kernel, BSP Bring-up, and board initialization activities.
- Analyze board schematics and troubleshoot hardware-software integration issues.
- Debug kernel and driver issues using JTAG, Signal Analyzers, and other debugging tools.
- Develop and maintain platform software for ARM and RISC-V based systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality embedded software solutions.
- Follow software development best practices, version control, and code review processes.
