Role Summary :
We are looking for skilled Linux Device Driver Developers to join our Embedded Software team and work on cutting-edge Consumer SoCs for leading global semiconductor companies. The role involves designing, developing, debugging, and optimizing Linux device drivers for next-generation embedded platforms across domains such as Consumer Electronics, Automotive, Communications, and Hyperscalers.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Linux Kernel, Embedded Linux, C Programming, and Linux Device Driver Development, with hands-on experience in board bring-up, hardware debugging, and peripheral interface driver development.

Roles &
Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain Linux Device Drivers for embedded Linux platforms.
- Develop and debug drivers for peripherals such as I2C, SPI, USB, PCIe, Ethernet, eMMC, Display, Camera, and other hardware interfaces.
- Work closely with hardware and firmware teams to integrate device drivers on ARM and RISC-V based platforms.
- Perform Linux BSP Bring-up, board initialization, and Bootloader/U-Boot customization.
- Analyze board schematics and resolve hardware-software integration issues.
- Debug kernel and driver issues using JTAG, Signal Analyzers, and other embedded debugging tools.
- Customize and optimize the Linux Kernel for embedded platforms.
- Work with Yocto build systems and Git for software configuration and version control.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and software validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality embedded software solutions.
Qualifications :
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
- 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Linux Device Driver Development.

Good to Have Skills :
- Experience with Linux Kernel Upstreaming.

Preferred Candidate Profile :
- Strong understanding of Linux Internals and Kernel Architecture.
- Ability to read and interpret board schematics.
- Excellent debugging and analytical skills.
- Valuable verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and eager to work on challenging embedded software projects.
- Immediate Joiners or candidates serving notice with 1015 days remaining will be preferred.
