Mandatory Experience & Eligibility
Please apply only if you meet the mandatory requirements below. Candidates without relevant leather goods manufacturing experience will not be considered for this position.
We are specifically looking for a Merchandiser with hands-on experience in leather goods manufacturing, including products such as bags, wallets, small leather goods (SLGs), belts, business accessories, or similar leather products.
Mandatory Requirements

- Must have worked in a leather goods manufacturing/export factory and understand the complete manufacturing process.

Before Applying
Please ensure your CV clearly mentions:
1. Your total years of experience specifically in leather goods merchandising.
2. The types of leather products you have handled — bags, wallets, SLGs, belts, accessories, etc.
3. Whether you have independently handled buyer/customer communication and customer accounts.
4. Your experience with sampling, new product development, and product costing.
5. Your experience managing orders from initial development through bulk production and final shipment.
6. The leather goods manufacturing/export companies you have previously worked with.
Important: Candidates whose experience is primarily in garments, textiles, footwear, retail merchandising, or unrelated industries without relevant leather goods manufacturing experience will not be considered for this position. This version is better for what you're trying to achieve because it makes ownership very explicit. You're not looking for someone who simply follows up with departments; you're looking for someone who can own a customer account from development to shipment.
Job Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu | Full-Time | On-Site
We are specifically looking for candidates who are currently based in Tamil Nadu or are willing to relocate to Chennai.
Candidates with relevant leather goods merchandising experience from Chennai, Ranipet, Vellore, Ambur, Vaniyambadi and other leather manufacturing clusters across Tamil Nadu are encouraged to apply.
Please note: This is a full-time, on-site factory-based position and is not a remote or hybrid role.
