Application Development and Maintenance

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy microservices-based applications on Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms
- Build and manage containerized applications using Docker/Podman
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
- Automate deployment, scaling, and management of applications in OpenShift environments
- Monitor and troubleshoot application performance, cluster health, and deployments
- Work with DevOps teams to implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible
- Configure and manage OpenShift features like routes, builds, services, operators, and security policies
- Ensure application security, compliance, and best practices in cloud-native deployments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and cloud engineers
- Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and configurations

Technical and Skilled Requirements:

- Strong experience in Kubernetes (K8s) and Red Hat OpenShift
- Proficiency in container technologies (Docker, Podman)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, or Shell scripting)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and REST APIs
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Helm charts)
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems
- Experience in monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
