Title : Sr. Engineer - PPC

Location : Sri City, Tada, Andhra Pradesh – India

Reporting : Manager – PPC

Job Purpose

To ensure utilisation of shop capacity fully by proper and proactive material planning and delivering customer orders on time.

Key Accountabilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned from time to time according to the exigency of situation.

- Hands on experience in Production and Material Requirement Planning.
- Develop project schedule and monitor the project progress.
- Coordinate with upstream functions to ensure materials available on time to start production activities
- Review with concerned stakeholders to ensure manufacturing completes on time.
- Effecting changes to production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met
- Create capacity plan and ensure sufficient loading of machines. Monitor daily output in terms of quantity as well as time.
- Keep a track of engineering changes and its impact in projects.
- Hands on experience in identifying and maintaining safety stock and Kanban.
- Monitor Key performance indicators on daily, weekly, and monthly and apply problem solving for continuous improvement.
- Foresee the risks in project execution and escalate to management.
- Compiling status and performance reports and submitting them to management in a timely manner.




- Co-ordinate with other functions and pull materials for uniform loading in machining, welding, and assembly. Improve utilisation of plant capacity.
- Maintain project wise shortages and release plan for kitting
- Knowledge of overall manufacturing process.

- Good communication skills with the ability to form and maintain good relationships with internal & external stakeholders.
- Good interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Solid analytical skills.
- Strong technical mindset and able to read and interpret technical data and translate to others.
- Assertive, optimistic, resilient and welcomes changes.
- Good proficiency in excel.
- Result orientated and organised with the ability to deliver against deadlines.
- Basic knowledge in Power BI added advantage

Education qualification and Experience:
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing engineering with min 5 years of experience in PPC.
- Knowledge and understanding of a variety of manufacturing processes and components and ability to evaluate and analyse associated costs.

Communication Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must possess good writing and Communication skills in English. Knowing Tamil and Telugu will be added advantage.
