We're Hiring: Lead Mechanical Designer — Product Innovation Lab, TTK Prestige ! Got a knack for turning a rough sketch into a working prototype? We're building a strong first of its kind Innovation lab inside TTK Prestige — small team, fast iterations, real products shipped — and we need someone to lead mechanical design.

You'll own concepts end-to-end: from sketch to get it into a customer's hands as an MVP. If you'd rather be prototyping with your hands than sitting in sign-off meetings, this is built for you. What you'll actually be doing:

Taking product ideas from a napkin sketch to a validated, manufacturable design

Building and breaking prototypes fast — 3D printing, rapid iteration, real-world testing

Making the calls on plastics, sheet metal, castings, and machined parts, thermal behavior, and material trade-offs

Running your own design reviews, tolerance analysis, and root-cause debugging when things don't work the first time

Working shoulder-to-shoulder with electronics, firmware, sourcing, and manufacturing teams to get from concept to MVP without the usual back-and-forth

Leverage the external eco-system : prototyping agencies, academic labs, and startups outside our four walls

What we're looking for





5–8 years of hands-on mechanical/product design experience in consumer electronics, appliances, or a closely related product category

Someone who's genuinely built things — not just designed them on screen — and can point to products they've taken from concept to production

Sharp problem-solving instincts and comfort with ambiguity; we care far more about how you think through a design challenge than which degree got you here A genuine curiosity about new materials, mechanisms, and technology, and how they can reshape an everyday product interaction A bias for action: you'd rather build a rough prototype this week than perfect a slide deck about it

Robust CAD chops (SolidWorks, Creo, Fusion 360, or equivalent) and a real feel for DFM/DFA and materials

Ownership mentality — you don't wait to be told what's next Qualification: B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical/Engineering design, Production, or Machine Design (from any institution — we care more about what you've built than where you studied) Location: Bengaluru (Brigade Towers)
