Education - ITI/Diploma in Engineering (Discipline – Instrumentation) Experience Range – Designer: 5 years and above Senior Designer: 10 years and above Principal Designer: 20 years and above Mode of Interview - Physical (Delhi Location) - Tool Test +Technical Interview Tool proficiency - SmartPlant 3D - SP3D ,SPR, Navis work, Microstation , Smart Plant instrumentation (SPI) all modules , Auto-CAD Work Experience – Experience in EPC or Detail design engineering company in the engineering discipline for execution of projects in various sectors like Oil & Gas, Energy, Refining, Petrochemicals. MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES General Ensuring quality of design as per job manual & QA checklist requirements
Proven ability to execute within the Project time-lines and work with least supervision.
Demonstrate expertise for modeling using various 3D tools, like SP3D, etc and takes ownership and sense of responsibility to deliver within the project time schedule.
Modeling and layout detail design work related to discipline specific deliverables
Generates various layouts, installation drawings, MTOs based on the engineering discipline workflow.
Checking drawings and MTOs.
Review of vendor drawings related to plant design.. HSE, QA/QC
Executes applicable scope of work in compliance with the requirements of the HSE Management System and IMS for the discipline/project.
Ensures that the documentation is prepared, checked and approved according to Project Quality Plan. PROJECT CONTROL / COORDINATION
Communicates to the Lead Engineer status and progress of project’s schedule deliverables.
Communicates man-hour spent.
Records and communicates all changes to original scope.
Contributes to Change Management. DOMAIN KNOWLEDGE
Experience in detail design engineering including Instrument Hookups,cable schedule, Drum schedule, Instrument cable tray routing plans, Tray sizing,, Junction box grouping , Layout engineering , Modeling of Trays, supports, junction boxes, panels, field instruments , Air manifolds, and other instrumentation items in SP3D workplace , 2D layout extraction from SP3D model , MCT block diagram , participate in model reviews, and generation of Bulk MTO
Expertise in the wiring model and loop module of Smartplant instrumentation tool
Control room layout design.
Checking of Installation layouts , Bulk Material list.
Effective Communication skills with proactive coordination to manage interdiscipline workflow.
Ability to identify cost optimization opportunities during project execution .
Tool proficiency - SmartPlant 3D - SP3D ,SPR, Navis work, Microstation , Smart Plant instrumentation (SPI) all modules , Auto-CAD Skills AutoCAD, Instrumentation & Control Systems, MicroStation, Navisworks, SmartPlant Instrumentation, SmartPlant 3D
