Role Description The Lead Auditor will conduct remote audits of client management systems against relevant ISO standards, ensuring conformity with quality, environmental, food safety, and information security requirements as applicable. This contract role involves planning audit programs, reviewing documentation, interviewing process owners, and evaluating the effectiveness of implemented controls and procedures.

The Lead

Auditor will prepare clear, objective audit reports, identify nonconformities and improvement opportunities, and provide guidance to clients on corrective actions within the boundaries of impartial auditing practices. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating audit schedules, maintaining audit records,



collaborating with certification bodies and client teams, and staying up to date with changes in ISO standards and regulatory requirements. The role is fully remote and requires strong professional judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple audit engagements.

Qualifications Robust knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22000, and/or ISO 27001 frameworks, with proven experience leading audits or assessments against one or more of these standards.

Skills in documentation review, SOP evaluation, and process analysis to assess the effectiveness and completeness of management systems.

Competence in risk assessment, internal control evaluation, and identification of nonconformities and opportunities for improvement.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear audit reports and conduct professional audit interviews.

Strong organizational and time management skills to plan audit programs, manage remote engagements, and meet deadlines across multiple clients.

Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining objectivity, ethical conduct, and client confidentiality.

Relevant auditor or lead auditor certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22000, ISO 27001) or equivalent formal training are highly beneficial.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (such as Quality Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, Information Security, Food Technology, or Business) or equivalent professional experience.
