Purpose/Objective The Executive - Production is responsible for operating manufacturing equipment while ensuring that production processes adhere to quality and safety standards.
They assist in handling sensitive materials and perform tasks related to assembly, packaging, and testing.
They contribute to achieving production targets by maintaining efficiency and ensuring that all production steps align with operational procedures.
They support troubleshooting of minor issues, help ensure safety and quality compliance, and assist with documentation and reporting for accurate process tracking.
Key Responsibilities of Role
Manufacturing Skills: Operate manufacturing equipment such as presses, assembly machines, or specialized machinery for component assembly, ensuring that all processes adhere to strict quality and safety protocols.
Handle and process sensitive materials in collaboration with team members, applying established protocols to ensure safety, prevent contamination, and maintain product integrity.
Perform assembly, packaging, and testing tasks as part of a team, ensuring each production step adheres to detailed operational procedures and specifications for high-stakes manufacturing.
Technical Literacy: Interpret basic technical documentation, including product specifications, assembly instructions, and testing guidelines, ensuring precise adherence to required standards.
Collaborate with teams to prepare and update process sheets, production plans, and checklists, ensuring they comply with current product and safety standards.
Collect and monitor data on process performance, material usage, and output quantities, providing insights that support quality control and operational efficiency initiatives.
Production Target Realization & Result Orientation: Work towards meeting the daily production targets, focusing on maintaining efficiency while ensuring the strict adherence to timelines for manufacturing components and assembling products.
Manage the workflow of assigned tasks, adjusting based on priorities such as urgent production runs or adjustments for materials, ensuring timely completion while maintaining high standards of quality.
Contribute to the successful completion of production quotas by keeping up with operational timelines, while also ensuring equipment and materials are used efficiently to minimize waste.
Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution: Identify potential problems with machinery or materials, such as operational issues in presses or misalignments in assembly lines, and assist senior team members in troubleshooting and resolving these issues swiftly.
Support in diagnosing minor faults, such as tooling wear or mechanical issues, and follow the repair processes to prevent downtime and ensure that the production line remains uninterrupted.
Follow established troubleshooting procedures to resolve common production challenges, such as equipment calibration issues, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
Safety & Quality Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols when operating machinery or handling materials such as explosives, propellants, or metal components, contributing to a safe working environment.
Regularly assist in conducting safety inspections of production lines, machines, and work areas to identify potential hazards, making sure that equipment is correctly maintained and safe for use.
Conduct routine quality checks of materials and finished products, ensuring that each step of the production process, from component assembly to final inspection, complies with established quality standards for precision and safety.
Equipment Maintenance Skills: Perform routine checks on machinery, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting settings to ensure machines operate at peak efficiency.
Assist in maintaining critical production equipment, such as presses, molding machines, and testing apparatus, ensuring they are calibrated to meet production requirements without delay.
Report any signs of wear or malfunction in the equipment, including issues with accuracy or cycle time, to supervisors for prompt attention.
Product Knowledge: Develop an understanding of the manufacturing specifications for various components, such as casings, primers, or small arms parts, and ensure adherence to these standards throughout the production process.
Support in identifying materials such as metal alloys or gunpowder formulations, ensuring that each material meets the specific requirements for manufacturing high-quality products.
Assist in ensuring proper handling and storage of raw materials and finished products, maintaining product quality through protected and correct practices that reduce the risk of damage or contamination.
Process Documentation & Reporting: Assist in documenting the details of production runs, including batch numbers, material types, and quantities produced, ensuring accurate records for future reference.
Record data from quality assurance checks and production milestones, contributing to the maintenance of detailed logs for audits and compliance tracking.
Support in reporting equipment status, production speed, and material consumption to supervisors, ensuring that all data is captured accurately for performance monitoring and reporting.
Task Execution & Efficiency: Focus on meeting daily production requirements, supporting the completion of individual tasks such as component assembly, parts testing, and quality control checks efficiently.
Handle tasks such as material sorting, product handling, and part installation with precision, ensuring that each task contributes to the overall efficiency of the production flow.
Actively follow production schedules, ensuring that processes like assembly, packaging, and inspection are completed without causing delays in the overall production timeline.

Qualifications and Experience
Educational Background: Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Production Engineering, or Indo-Danish Tool room Work Experience: 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing operations, basic production processes, and safety protocols.
Industry Knowledge: Foundational knowledge of manufacturing systems, Exposure to Tool room machine like, M1TR, Lathe, Grinders, SAP, Tooling inventory and management
