Celestial Aerospace is developing next-generation launch systems and advanced propulsion technologies. We are hiring a LabVIEW & Ground Instrumentation Engineer to design, develop, and operate ground test instrumentation, data acquisition, and control systems for propulsion and structural testing.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with NI LabVIEW, DAQ systems, instrumentation, sensors, PLCs, and automated test stands . This role will directly contribute to safe, reliable, and repeatable testing of rocket engines, cryogenic systems, and launch vehicle hardware.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop LabVIEW applications for automated test and control systems
- Design and integrate data acquisition (DAQ) systems
- Interface sensors, actuators, valves, PLCs, and control hardware
- Configure NI hardware (cDAQ, cRIO, PXI, CompactDAQ, etc.)
- Develop real-time monitoring, logging, alarms, and safety interlocks
- Build and commission propulsion and subsystem test stands




- Perform calibration and validation of instrumentation
- Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and DAQ issues
- Maintain documentation, wiring diagrams, and test procedures
- Work closely with propulsion, avionics, and test teams

Mandatory Skills

- Strong proficiency in NI LabVIEW
- Experience with NI DAQ hardware (cDAQ/cRIO/PXI)
- Knowledge of instrumentation (pressure, temperature, load cells, flow meters)
- Experience with PLCs, industrial communication protocols (CAN, Modbus, Ethernet/IP)
- Electrical wiring, signal conditioning, and control systems
- Robust debugging and analytical skills

Experience

- 3–5 years in LabVIEW, industrial automation, aerospace testing, or instrumentation
- Experience with propulsion test stands, industrial automation, or HIL systems preferred
- Experience with NI hardware, aerospace startups, ISRO, DRDO, or Tier-1 suppliers preferred

Educational Qualification

- M.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering fields.
