- Diploma in Veterinary Laboratory Technology (DVLT)
- Certificate in Veterinary Laboratory Technology (CVLT)
- Veterinary Lab Assistant Course
- Equivalent relevant qualification in laboratory technology will also be considered.

Job Summary MaxPetz Veterinary Hospital is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our veterinary diagnostic team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in veterinary or human pathology laboratories and be comfortable handling dogs and cats during sample collection and diagnostic procedures. A genuine love for animals and a pet-friendly attitude are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, label, and process blood, urine, stool, and other diagnostic samples.
- Perform routine laboratory investigations as per standard protocols.
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment.
- Prepare slides and assist in pathology-related diagnostic procedures.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and reports.




- Ensure proper storage and handling of specimens.
- Follow laboratory safety, hygiene, and infection control protocols.
- Coordinate with veterinarians regarding test results and sample requirements.
- Assist in inventory management of laboratory reagents and consumables.
- Handle dogs and cats safely and compassionately during sample collection.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 2–3 years of experience in a veterinary or human pathology laboratory.
- Practical experience handling dogs and cats is preferred.
- Sound knowledge of laboratory procedures and diagnostic equipment.
- Good documentation and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts.
- Positive attitude, team spirit, and willingness to learn.
- Pet-friendly attitude is mandatory.
