Educational Qualification: BE/MCA/ME/M Tech/MSc Job Summary: The L2/L3 Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of networking products, focusing on Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies. This role involves developing test plans, executing tests, and identifying issues to ensure that networking products meet or exceed quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Plan Development:

- Create comprehensive test plans for L2/L3 network protocols and features.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and design test strategies.

1. Test Execution:

- Perform manual and automated testing of networking products.
- Conduct performance, scalability,



and stress tests to evaluate product limits.

1. Issue Identification and Reporting:

- Identify, document, and track software and hardware defects.
- Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

1. Automation:

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for L2/L3 functionalities.
- Integrate automated tests into continuous integration (CI) systems.

1. Compliance and Standards:

- Ensure products comply with industry standards and protocols.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in L2/L3 technologies and apply relevant knowledge to testing processes.

1. Collaboration:

- Work with cross-functional teams including development, product management, and customer support.
- Provide input and feedback to improve product quality and testing methodologies.
