Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced L2 Database Administrator with expertise in MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis to manage production and DR database environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in database administration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, replication, security, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and maintain MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis databases.

Perform database backup, restore, replication, and disaster recovery activities.

Monitor database performance and optimize queries.

Manage Redis clusters and MongoDB shard health.

Create new database instances and manage user access.

Perform database patching, security hardening, and vulnerability remediation.

Execute housekeeping, archival, and data purge activities.

Troubleshoot database issues and support production incidents.





Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for issue resolution.

Prepare operational reports and maintain technical documentation.

Participate in Incident, Change, Problem, and Service Request Management processes.

Required Skills

3–5 years of experience in MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis Database Administration.

Strong knowledge of database backup, recovery, replication, and performance tuning.

Experience with Redis Clustering and MongoDB Sharding.

Valuable knowledge of Linux administration.

Basic scripting skills (Shell/Python) for automation.

Understanding of database security, patching, and high availability.

Preferred Certification

MongoDB Associate DBA Certification (Preferred)
