Role Description The Kubernetes Platform Lead will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust Kubernetes-based platform that supports scalable and secure applications for Esse India. This full-time in office role, based in Abroad, involves leading the containerization strategy, managing clusters, optimizing deployment pipelines, and ensuring high availability and performance of core systems. The role includes collaborating with software development teams to define platform standards, implementing monitoring and logging solutions, and driving automation of infrastructure and application lifecycle processes.

Lead will also work closely with stakeholders to align platform capabilities with business needs, oversee technical documentation, and mentor team members on best practices for cloud-native architectures and container orchestration.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for troubleshooting, performance optimization, and data-driven decision-making.

Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and conveying complex technical concepts clearly.





Candidates should possess Software Development experience, including working with microservices, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines in containerized environments.

Candidates should possess Solution Architecture capabilities to design scalable, secure, and resilient Kubernetes-based platforms and cloud-native infrastructures.

Candidates should possess Project Management skills to plan, execute, and oversee platform initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.

Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, and related tooling (Helm, Istio or similar, Kubernetes operators) is highly beneficial.

Experience with cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform), and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) is preferred.

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is desirable.

Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, take ownership of platform reliability, and continuously improve systems in a fast-paced environment.
