Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement embedded software for automotive control units using C,
- Embedded C, and C++.
- Apply model-based design methodologies for software development, including the
- integration and deployment of AI/ML models.
- Conduct static code analysis using tools like ASTREE, POLYSPACE, or Coverity to ensure
- code quality and adherence to standards.
- Develop and execute comprehensive code validation and verification strategies, including
- unit testing and integration testing.
- Contribute to the architecture and design of embedded software systems, ensuring
- scalability, performance, and safety (ISO26262).
- Utilize Python for scripting, automation, and data analysis in the development and testing
- processes.
- Work with AUTOSAR components (C-S, S-R, RTE, Signals, BSW) and integrate both
- AUTOSAR and non-AUTOSAR/legacy software.
- Participate in software build, integration, and release management activities within a
- CI/CD pipeline.
- Research and implement innovative approaches to integrate AI into embedded software
- development processes and products.
- Ensure compliance with ISO26262 for software quality, criticality, and tool qualification.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Proven experience in embedded software development and architecture.
- Expertise in static code analysis tools (e.g., ASTREE, POLYSPACE, Coverity).
- Strong proficiency in C and Embedded C programming (C99 standards).
- Strong proficiency in C++ (11 or higher) is required.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO26262 for software quality and criticality.
- Solid understanding of code validation and verification concepts and practices.
- Proficient in Python programming with an Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) approach.
- Comprehensive knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture and functionality (C-S, S-R, RTE,
- Signals, components, BSW), as well as experience with non-AUTOSAR and legacy
- software.
- Experience with various testing frameworks and methodologies.• Understanding of software build processes, integration, CI/CD pipelines, and release
- management flows.
- Demonstrated experience as an AI Engineer with a strong background in model-based
- development, specifically integrating AI/ML models into embedded systems.
- Knowledge of the AI/ML development lifecycle, including model training, deployment, and
- validation for embedded applications.
- Experience with tools and techniques for deploying AI models on resource-constrained embedded platforms.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
- Knowledge of MATLAB and its setting for model-based design.
- Experience with software qualification and tool qualification processes according to ISO26262.
- Familiarity with code coverage analysis, unit testing frameworks, and efficient software release practices.
- Understanding of control flow analysis (pre-behavior, main-behavior, post-behavior) of software.
- Automotive domain experience and knowledge of ECUs.
- Innovative mindset with a passion for integrating AI into automotive software development.
