Junior TIG Welder Welding & Fabrication Support /: Responsibilities/: Precision TIG/GTAW Equipment Operation/: In accordance with welding method standards, set up, calibrate, and run advanced TIG welding power sources, high/-frequency arc starters, torch configurations, and foot pedals. Blueprints & Weld Symbols Literacy/: Accurately position, fit, and fuse structural pieces by interpreting intricate engineering drawings, assembly layouts, and common welding symbols. Multi/-Material & Alloy Welding/: Use the proper filler rods to fuse a variety of metals, such as carbon steel, aluminum alloys, thin/-gauge stainless steel, and specialty nickel or titanium alloys.

Component

Prep, Tacking, and Fitting/: Use angle grinders and wire brushes to clean, bevel, deburr, and degrease weld joints use clamps, jigs, and fixtures to tack/-weld components into accurate alignment.



ShieldingGas & PurgeControl/: To stop root oxidation, choose, modify, and keep an eye on shielding gas flow rates and perform back/-purging for stainless steel pipe or box fabrications.
