Role Description The Junior Social Media Assistant is a full-time, hybrid role based in Mumbai, with flexibility for some work-from-home days. In this role, the individual will support the planning and execution of social media content across platforms, including drafting posts, selecting visuals, and scheduling content. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with content calendars, monitoring engagement, responding to comments and messages, and gathering insights from performance data.

Assistant will collaborate with senior team members to align content with brand strategy, support campaign launches, and stay updated on social media trends.



This role offers hands-on experience in shaping purpose-driven brand narratives online while working closely with the creative and strategy teams.

Qualifications

Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal interaction with internal teams and external audiences.

NEED MAJOR HELP IN POSTINGS AND OPERATIONAL TASKS TO SUPPORT THE SOCIAL MEDIA TEAM. Only join if you're ready to work your way to earn trust amongst your peer to handle responsibilities for the brands. This is a challenging job. It does require time and you will have to give it time. Ability to create engaging Social Media Content Creation for various platforms, with an eye for storytelling and visual consistency.

Foundational knowledge of Social Media Marketing, including understanding of platform best practices and basic analytics.

Solid Writing skills for captions, short-form content, and brand-aligned messaging across channels.

Comfort working across multiple Social Media platforms (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook) and adapting content to each.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced workplace.

Interest in branding, purpose-driven marketing, and digital storytelling; prior internships or project experience in these areas is a plus.

Basic familiarity with design or content tools (e.g., Canva, scheduling tools) is beneficial.

Relevant coursework or a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
