Role Description The Junior Research Associate is a full time, on-site role based in Gurugram, Haryana. This position involves supporting research projects by collecting and organizing data, conducting literature reviews, and assisting in the design of surveys and field studies. The role includes preparing reports, presentations, and summaries of findings for internal and external stakeholders, as well as contributing to documentation for programs and grant applications.

The Junior Research

Associate will coordinate with senior researchers and program staff, participate in community visits when required, and help maintain accurate records and databases.



The role also requires regular communication with team members to ensure timely completion of research tasks and alignment with project goals.

Qualifications

Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to conduct literature reviews and synthesize qualitative and quantitative information.

Competence in data collection, basic data analysis, and maintaining organized records and databases.

Effective written and verbal communication skills for drafting reports, summaries, and presentations.

Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage respectfully with community stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Economics, Public Policy, or a related field; a master’s degree is an added advantage.

Demonstrated interest in social impact, rural development, or non-profit work.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with basic statistical tools or software is a plus.

Comfort with fieldwork and on-site community engagement when required.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
