ABOUT THE COMPANY

Medovate Pvt Ltd is building a Technology and Operations Centre in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, to deliver Oracle Fusion Cloud services for a multi-entity international group operating manufacturing and distribution businesses across the United States, United Kingdom, Mexico, China, and India. The group runs Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and SCM across multiple legal entities, inventory organizations, and business units, with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) connecting Fusion to intercompany order flows, warehouse operations, e-commerce platforms, and third-party logistics partners.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Junior Oracle SCM Functional Consultant to join the Supply Chain practice at Medovate's Ahmedabad center. This is a hands-on functional role suited to someone early in their Oracle Fusion career who wants to build real module depth rather than remain in a single support queue. You will work under the direction of the SCM Functional Lead and alongside senior consultants, supporting configuration, testing, data preparation, and day to day functional support across Inventory Management, Product Management, Procurement, Order Management, and Cost Management.

You will be given structured work, clear design decisions to execute against, and progressively broader exposure as you demonstrate capability.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Configuration and Delivery Support

- Perform configuration tasks across Oracle Fusion SCM modules in line with design decisions agreed by the SCM Functional Lead.
- Participate in requirements and discovery sessions with supply chain, warehouse, and procurement stakeholders, taking accurate notes and preparing follow up questions.
- Prepare configuration workbooks, setup checklists, and functional documentation for review by senior consultants.
- Assist with the setup of inventory organizations, sub inventories, locators, and item organization assignments across multiple legal entities.
- Support workplace refresh activities by re applying and validating configuration in test and development pods.

Inventory Management

- Support configuration of transaction types, reservations, lot and serial control, and inter organization transfer setups.
- Assist with cycle count and physical inventory setup, count sequence generation, and adjustment processing.
- Investigate inventory balance and transaction discrepancies,



escalating root cause findings to senior consultants.
- Support min max planning, replenishment, and reorder setup for stocked items.

Product Management

- Assist with item class structures, item templates, attribute groups, and catalogue setup.
- Prepare and validate item master data loads using FBDI and spreadsheet templates.
- Support item lifecycle phase transitions and item organization assignment across group entities.
- Maintain item level attribute accuracy including units of measure, category assignments, and cross references.

Procurement

- Support configuration of purchasing document styles, approval hierarchies, and supplier setup.
- Assist with blanket purchase agreement and price list maintenance, including validation of pricing against agreed terms.
- Support requisition to purchase order flow testing, including self service procurement scenarios.
- Prepare supplier and supplier site data for load and validate results after import.

Order Management

- Support order orchestration process testing, including hold, change order, and fulfilment line scenarios.
- Assist with pricing, shipping, and transaction type setup for domestic and export order flows.
- Support intercompany purchase order and sales order flows between group entities, including validation of generated documents.
- Investigate stuck or errored orders and prepare findings for resolution by senior consultants.

Cost Management and Shipping

- Support cost organization, cost book, and valuation unit setup activities.
- Assist with receipt accounting and cost accounting period close tasks, including exception review.
- Support pick, pack, and ship transaction testing, including shipping document generation and receipt confirmation.

Testing and Data

- Execute test scripts during SIT and UAT cycles, log defects with clear reproduction steps, and retest fixes.
- Prepare test data sets and support data conversion activities, including reconciliation of loaded records against source extracts.




- Validate reports and BI queries against transactional data and flag inconsistencies.

Support and Documentation

- Provide first and second line functional support for SCM users across group entities, working within agreed service levels.
- Maintain configuration logs, issue trackers, and knowledge base articles.
- Prepare user guides and quick reference material for warehouse, procurement, and order management users.
- Raise and track service requests with Oracle Support under the guidance of senior team members.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Required

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Commerce, Operations, or a related discipline.
- One to three years of experience working with Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM in a functional, support, or implementation capacity.
- Working exposure to at least two of Inventory Management, Product Management, Procurement, Order Management, or Cost Management.
- Understanding of core supply chain processes including procure to pay, order to cash, and inventory transaction flows.
- Practical experience preparing and loading data using FBDI templates or spreadsheet loaders.
- Strong Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, and data validation for reconciliation work.
- Clear written English and the ability to document configuration and issues precisely.
- Willingness to work on site in Ahmedabad and to overlap with UK and US business hours when required.

Preferred

- Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM certification in one or more modules.
- Exposure to multi entity, multi organization, or multi currency Oracle environments.
- Experience supporting intercompany order flows between related legal entities.
- Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud delivered interfaces from a functional testing perspective.
- Exposure to manufacturing, discrete assembly, or distribution operations.
- Awareness of BI Publisher or OTBI report structures.
- Experience working alongside warehouse teams on receiving, putaway, picking, or cycle count processes.
