Role Description The Junior Lighting Designer will support the design team in developing lighting concepts, layouts, and specifications for interior and exterior projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with design drawings, preparing presentations, coordinating with architects and interior designers, and helping with fixture selection and documentation.

The role involves conducting basic research on lighting technologies and materials, participating in project meetings, and supporting site visits, mock-ups, and focusing sessions as needed. This is a full-time,



on-site role based in Mumbai, requiring close collaboration with the core team to deliver high-quality, innovative lighting solutions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Lighting Design and Lighting, including basic understanding of illumination principles and visual comfort.
- Candidates should possess skills in Architectural Lighting, with the ability to support integration of lighting into building and landscape concepts.
- Candidates should possess skills in Interior Design or coordination with interior design teams to ensure cohesive spatial experiences.
- Candidates should possess skills in Lighting Control, with familiarity with dimming, automation, and control systems preferred.
- Degree or diploma in architecture, interior design, lighting design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design and documentation software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux/Relux, or similar tools).
- Robust visual communication skills, including basic presentation and rendering capabilities.
- Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment in Mumbai.
