: Investment Analyst (Fresher / 1–2 Years Experience) – Family Office
Position Title: Junior Investment Analyst Reports To: Vice President Investment & Treasury
Location: FORT, Mumbai

CTC: 5-6 LPA About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Junior Investment Analyst to join our Family Office. This is an excellent opportunity for a fresher or early-career professional (0–2 years' experience) to build a solid foundation in portfolio analysis, market research, and investment documentation while working closely with senior investment professionals managing the family's wealth. The role is structured as a learning-oriented position where you will develop hands-on expertise across the investment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities (Learning-Oriented)Portfolio Analysis — Skills you'll build
- Assist in tracking portfolio performance across asset classes (equities, fixed income, mutual funds/alternatives)
- Learn to calculate and interpret basic performance metrics (returns, XIRR, volatility)
- Support senior analysts in preparing monthly/quarterly portfolio summaries
- Gradually build skills in risk analysis — concentration, correlation, drawdown — under guidance
- Assist in comparing fund/manager performance against relevant benchmarks
Market Analysis — Skills you'll build
- Track daily/weekly market news, interest rate movements, and macroeconomic indicators
- Research sectors, industries, and companies under senior analyst supervision
- Compile market summaries and news digests for the investment team
- Support due diligence on new investment opportunities (data gathering, initial research)
- Learn to draft basic investment notes and thesis summaries over time
Documentation — Skills you'll build
- Maintain and organize records of investment transactions, term sheets, and correspondence
- Assist in preparing investment memos, presentation decks, and meeting minutes
- Learn documentation standards for regulatory, tax, and audit compliance
- Support the investment team in maintaining a well-organized document/data repository
- Coordinate with custodians, auditors, and fund administrators for basic reporting needs

Qualifications

- 0–2 years of experience (internships in banking/finance/wealth management are a plus)
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel; basic knowledge of financial concepts and valuation
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail, willingness to learn, and discretion with confidential information
- Familiarity with Bloomberg/Reuters/financial databases is a plus, not mandatory
