Role Description The Junior Interior Designer will support the design team in developing functional and aesthetically pleasing interiors for residential and commercial projects. This full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru involves assisting with space planning, preparing design concepts, sourcing materials and finishes, and supporting FF&E; selections. Day-to-day tasks include helping with construction drawings, preparing presentations, coordinating with vendors, and participating in site visits to ensure design intent is maintained.
The Junior Interior
Designer will collaborate closely with senior designers and architects, contribute to sustainable design solutions, and maintain project documentation and timelines.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Interior Design and FF&E; (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection and coordination.
Candidates should possess skills in Space Planning and Architecture fundamentals for functional and efficient layouts.
Candidates should possess skills in preparing and understanding Construction Drawings and related documentation.
Candidates should have proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
Candidates should have strong visual, creative, and conceptual design abilities with attention to detail.
Candidates should demonstrate effective communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.
Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
Interest in sustainable design practices and willingness to learn and grow within a multidisciplinary workplace is beneficial.
