Role Description The Junior Interior Designer role is a full-time, in office position based in Mumbai. The person in this role will support senior designers in developing interior concepts, preparing layouts, and assisting with space planning for residential, commercial, and retail projects. Day-to-day tasks include creating and updating drawings, coordinating FF&E; selections, preparing presentations, and maintaining project documentation.

Designer will collaborate with project teams, consultants, and vendors, participate in site visits,



and help ensure that design intent is implemented accurately during execution. The role also involves researching materials and finishes, staying current with design trends, and contributing creative ideas that align with client requirements and project budgets.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to translate concepts into functional layouts.

Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings, including the ability to read, prepare, and revise technical plans.

Experience or training in FF&E; (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection, specification, and coordination.

Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and basic MS Office skills.

Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field from a recognized institution.

Strong visual, conceptual, and detail-oriented design skills, with an organized approach to documentation and timelines.

Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, communicate clearly, and interact professionally with clients and vendors.

Willingness to conduct site visits, coordinate with contractors, and learn from on-site execution processes.
