Required Education & Experience required: Qualification: Diploma/BE or B. Tech – Mechanical Engineering or Tool and Die Making.

Experience: Minimum 02 to 05 years of experience.

Knowledge & Skills

- Working knowledge on Vendor identification, selection & development.
- Working knowledge on Sourcing strategies.
- Basic knowledge on product quotes & costing process.
- Working experience in executing NDA, Supplier pre-assessment & registration.
- Familiarized with Supplier assessments & audit process.
- Should have good communication and negotiation skills.
- Work experience in Aerospace Manufacturing Industry will be an added advantage.
- Self-motivated, curious, result & task oriented, must be able to work in team setting and handle multiple projects with aggressive timelines.
- Familiarize with MS office products like word, excel, Outlook, ppt.
- Basic knowledge on component obsolescence management.
- Basic knowledge on component counterfeit management.




- Basic knowledge on regulatory requirements like, RoHS, REACH & Conflict minerals.
- Basic knowledge on Quality systems like ISO 9001-2008, AS9100, AS9120.

Responsibilities

- Ability to source & obtain competitive quotes for all type of COTS parts with aggressive timelines.
- Review of customer specifications & listing the components (BOM) & product requirements for new products.
- Sending, reviewing supplier quotes for new projects to ensure on time completion of product costing.
- Review of BOM, costing & negotiate the prices for bidding projects.
- Conduct supplier meets & visits.
- Continues study & development of new material & suppliers for cost reduction & productivity improvements.
- Proactive identification of suppliers for existing single source, cost reduction & alternative suppliers to replace the poor performance suppliers.
- Ability to source the production shortages to meet the deliveries.
- Develop, Establish & maintaining good business relationship with suppliers.
- Tracking of samples to ensure on time completion of material in warding, Incoming Inspection for the RM required for sample build.
