Role Description The Junior Data Scientist will work full time in office in the Greater Coimbatore Area, supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role involves collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various internal and external sources, as well as performing exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for service improvement. The individual will assist in building and evaluating statistical and machine learning models, creating dashboards and visual reports, and communicating insights to cross-functional teams in a clear and actionable way.

Day-to-day responsibilities also include collaborating with operations, product, and customer service teams to define data requirements, testing hypotheses,



and helping to implement data solutions that enhance efficiency and customer experience. The role provides hands-on experience with practical business problems, under the guidance of senior data and analytics professionals.

Qualifications

Foundational knowledge in Data Science and Data Analytics, with the ability to apply basic concepts to real-world business problems.

Strong skills in Statistics and Data Analysis to interpret data accurately and support evidence-based recommendations.

Ability to create clear and informative Data Visualization outputs for stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise.

Proficiency with tools such as Python or R, and experience using libraries for data manipulation and analysis (e.g., pandas, NumPy, ggplot, or similar).

Familiarity with SQL or other query languages to extract and manage data from databases.

Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.

Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn from feedback and mentorship.

Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams in an on-site environment.
