Role Description This is a full time, on-site Junior Accountant role based in Hyderabad.

The Junior

Accountant will assist with day-to-day accounting activities, including recording journal entries, maintaining ledgers, and supporting accounts payable and receivable processes. The role involves preparing and reconciling financial statements, assisting with bank reconciliations, and ensuring accurate documentation of invoices, vouchers, and supporting records.

Accountant will help monitor project expenses,



coordinate with site and office teams on billing and payments, and support compliance with statutory requirements such as GST, TDS, and other regulatory filings. The position also includes supporting monthly and annual closing activities, assisting external auditors, and contributing to the implementation of standardized financial processes and controls.

Qualifications

- Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles, including journal entries, ledgers, trial balance, and basic financial statements.
- Ability to work with accounting software (e.g., Tally or similar ERP), spreadsheets, and other financial reporting tools.
- Understanding of taxation and compliance relevant to the construction sector, such as GST, TDS, and statutory documentation.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, reconciliations, and record-keeping.
- Good analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify discrepancies.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with finance, project, and site teams.
- Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and meet reporting deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; internship or prior experience in accounting is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn sector-specific accounting practices and adapt to established systems and procedures.
