Job Title: Java Full stack Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Java Full Stack Developer to join the Integration

Team at Lumber. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in backend and frontend development, API integrations, and building scalable enterprise applications. The role involves working closely with product, integration, and engineering teams to develop and maintain robust integration solutions across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

● Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications and integration solutions.

● Build and maintain REST/SOAP APIs and backend services using Java and Spring

Boot.

● Develop responsive frontend applications using modern JavaScript frameworks.

● Work on third-party integrations with ERP, Payroll, HRMS, and construction management systems.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions.

● Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

● Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.

● Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.

● Work with databases for data modeling, querying, and optimization.

● Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of applications.

Required Skills





Backend

● Strong experience in Java 8+ and Spring Boot.

● Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture.

● Good understanding of Hibernate/JPA.

● Knowledge of multithreading and asynchronous processing.

Frontend

● Experience with React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.

● Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

● Experience in building responsive UI components.

Database & Tools

● Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.

● Familiarity with Git and version control systems.

● Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

● Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

● Experience working on integration-heavy applications.

● Understanding of webhooks, event-driven architecture, and ETL processes.

● Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

● Solid problem-solving and communication skills.

Education

● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
