We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with 5–10 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will possess solid expertise in Java and Spring Boot, along with proven experience working in the banking or financial services domain. You will play a key role in building secure, scalable, and high-performance applications that support mission-critical banking operations.

As part of a collaborative engineering team, you will contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis and system design to implementation, testing, deployment, and production support. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of backend development, and the ability to deliver reliable solutions in a rapid-paced Agile environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices to support banking products and services.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Develop secure and resilient applications that comply with banking and financial industry standards.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability through efficient coding practices.
- Integrate applications with databases, third-party services, and enterprise systems.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture planning.
- Troubleshoot production issues,



identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and support application deployment across multiple environments.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java with solid knowledge of object-oriented programming principles.
- Extensive experience building applications using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
- Hands-on experience in the banking or financial services domain, including knowledge of banking workflows, payment systems, transaction processing, or lending platforms.
- Strong experience in developing REST APIs and microservices.
- Positive understanding of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Familiarity with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or JMS is an advantage.
- Experience with Git, Maven, Gradle, and up-to-date development tools.
- Understanding of cloud platforms, containerization, and CI/CD practices is preferred.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
