We are looking for a skilled Java Backend Developer with 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building microservices-based architectures, developing RESTful APIs, integrating with third-party systems, and working collaboratively with frontend developers and QA teams in an Agile environment.

Role & Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices following industry best practices.
- Design and implement Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) services and API Gateway patterns where required.
- Integrate backend services with third-party APIs and enterprise applications.
- Ensure application security, reliability, scalability, and high performance.
- Identify and resolve complex technical issues through effective debugging and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers, QA engineers, architects, and product owners to deliver high-quality software.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews,



sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Continuously improve application performance and optimize backend services.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in backend development using Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong experience designing and developing microservices-based applications.
- Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs and implementing BFF (Backend for Frontend) or API Gateway patterns.
- Experience integrating with third-party APIs and enterprise systems.
- Good understanding of backend security concepts, including authentication and authorization (OAuth2, JWT, Spring Security).
- Experience optimizing application performance and implementing scalable backend solutions.
- Robust debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
