Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer with robust hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining microservices-based applications, supporting production environments, and ensuring application reliability, scalability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Monitor Kafka and OCP processes and resolve production issues proactively.
- Develop and support Kafka-based real-time data processing solutions.




- Work with Git, Maven, and CI/CD pipelines for application development and deployment.
- Troubleshoot application issues using Splunk, Dynatrace, and Kibana.
- Support application performance tuning and debugging.
- Work with Oracle Database or other relational databases.
- Participate in Agile development activities, code reviews, and technical discussions.
- Manage incidents, alerts, root cause analysis, and operational support activities.
- Review and implement change requests and participate in CAB discussions.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and vendors for incident resolution and service improvements.
- Lead BAU activities including Disaster Recovery (DR), Penetration Testing, and third-party change coordination.
- Mentor team members and provide technical guidance.
- Support production environments, including rotational support when required.

Good to Have
- Experience with public or private cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCP)
- Banking domain experience
- Knowledge of Faster Payments, BACS, or Image Clearing System (ICS)
- Experience in technical mentoring and team leadership
