Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Expert Application Developer with over 8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS Cloud. The ideal candidate should possess strong software architecture and system design expertise while building highly available, secure, and cloud-native applications.

This role requires extensive experience with AWS services such as Lambda, Glue, EC2, S3, along with modern software engineering best practices including CI/CD, containerization, and API development.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop scalable enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design and implement Microservices architecture following cloud-native principles.
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
- Architect distributed applications with high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance.
- Design reusable frameworks and common application components.
- Develop serverless applications using AWS Lambda.
- Build and optimize ETL/data processing workflows using AWS Glue.
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS EC2.
- Utilize Amazon S3 for secure storage and data management.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and Product Owners to define technical solutions.
- Perform architecture reviews and recommend improvements.
- Implement security, logging, monitoring, and performance optimization.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience building Microservices-based applications.
- Extensive AWS development experience, including Lambda, Glue, EC2, and S3.
- Solid understanding of software architecture and design principles.
- Experience designing scalable and highly available enterprise applications.
- Experience working with relational databases.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- AWS Certified Developer Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
- Experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).

- Experience working in financial services or other regulated industries.
