Required Skills and Experience

Overall 7+ years of HR Payroll experience, with at least 3years to 5 years of dedicated hands-on experience in Japan Payroll processing.

•Knowledge about Payroll and Accounting Processes

•Experience with payroll programs and MS Office Suite

•High degree of professionalism and ability to communicate with various levels of management

•Good understanding of employment law, regulatory and legal compliance to meet country specific requirements

•Good problem-solving and analytical skills, sensitive to data and detail orientated

•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams

Required: Hands-on experience with end-to-end Japan payroll processing, including Social Insurance (Shakai Hoken), Labor Insurance, and Resident Tax (Jūminzei) management.

Required: 3 years to 5years of experience in Japanese language proficiency equivalent to JLPT N2 or N1 (both written and verbal) for seamless collaboration with Japan-based HR stakeholders.

Preferred Skills and Experience

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business and Human Resources

•Previous experience in a similar role of at least 2-3 years

•Basic knowledge in other HR processes such as Compensation, Benefit, Talent Acquisition etc.
