The Information Systems
Branch, AFRL/SSIS seeks to hire a mid-level, DO-II, at Kirtland AFB, NM.

Position Duties
Include, But Are Not Limited To AFRL/SSI works hand in hand with AFRL/IZ executing enterprise level capabilities.
Requirements play an integral role in the development and approvals of systems to operate within the parameters set forth for DODIN systems. Serves as a senior systems analyst and advisor for Management Information Systems (MIS) to the Research and Development Directorates conducting in-depth system analyses of existing MIS and components for recent and/or enhanced MIS Information Technology applications. Responsible for directing and testing of the existing MIS applications, assuring that all facets of the required test cycle meets the requirements imposed on MIS applications.
Develops comprehensive long and short-range system plans and support projects, including in-depth cost analysis, goals and objectives, and the resources required to support them. Provides advice and assistance to IT specialists involved in technical aspects of the project, including guidance on system interrelationships and interaction of various subsystems. Plans, organizes, coordinates, and manages the design of in-house software development projects and Information Technology (IT) assets, managing life cycle design and maintenance in all phases cradle to grave.
Advises organization management throughout the planning, schedule, development, and acquisition phases to assist in establishing justification for costs, establish goals and objectives, and priorities necessary to support the mission.
Coordinates and integrates the work of all personnel responsible for all segments of the Management Information System. Provides oversight and monitors software configuration management, actively participating in problem definition and solution, managing/ensuring source management and configuration control and implementation plans.
Performs as a senior technical advisor to functional users and less experienced IT developers during all phases of the SDLC.
Required Qualifications United States Citizenship. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Experience as SharePoint Online Site Collection Administrator as well as the 365 suite (OneDrive, Teams, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI). Must have at least one year of specialized experience at the DR-01/GS-12 or equivalent grade level. Specialized experience is experience providing the capacity and skills for working independently, leading collaborative events, working in teams and using these approaches to find and solve complex problems.
Such experience may also include training, collaborative process facilitation, innovation design practice, writing background, editing job roles, continuous process improvement credentials, multi-agency liaison work, published work in refereed technical journals, and/or briefings to large groups.

Qualifications 8140 Certification – IAM Level I.
Experience managing & administering MS365 product suite. Program/Project Management.
