Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Appian Architect / Technical Lead with 10+ years of IT experience and strong hands-on experience in Appian development and architecture. The ideal candidate should have expertise in designing and implementing end-to-end Appian solutions, integrations, data modelling, security, DevOps and server-side configuration.
Mandatory Skills
- 10+ years of overall IT experience with 6+ years of relevant Appian experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Appian 20.x and above
- Appian Certified Developer / Senior Developer / Lead Developer
- Solid expertise in SAIL Scripting
- Hands-on experience with CDTs (Common Data Types)
- Experience with Records, Sites and Task Reports
- Strong experience in External Integrations
- Experience with Integration Objects and Connectors
- Experience developing and using Custom Plug-ins
- Strong understanding of Appian Security
- Strong knowledge of Data Modelling and RDBMS concepts
- Knowledge of Appian best practices
- Ability to design and implement end-to-end Appian solutions
- Experience with Appian Installation and Server-side Configuration
- Strong troubleshooting skills, including Log Analysis
- Experience with Appian DevOps adoption
- Experience in running Appian HealthCheck
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable end-to-end Appian solutions.
- Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Lead Appian development using SAIL, CDTs, Records, Sites and Task Reports.
- Design and implement integrations using Integration Objects and Connectors.
- Define appropriate application security and access controls.
- Design effective data models and database solutions.
- Guide development teams on Appian best practices and standards.
- Evaluate and implement custom plug-ins where required.
- Support Appian installation, configuration and server-side requirements.
- Analyze logs and troubleshoot application and platform issues.
- Drive Appian DevOps adoption and deployment best practices.
- Perform Appian HealthCheck and identify performance/configuration improvements.
- Collaborate with clients, business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to Appian developers.
