Role & responsibilities

- Design BIW components such as floor panels, cross members, pillars, roof, side body, hood, doors, fenders, trunk/tailgate, and reinforcements.
- Proficient in BIW Design and CATIA To create 3D Models assemblies and drawing for sheet metal components.
- Create and modify 3D CAD models and assemblies in CATIA V5/V6.
- Develop sheet metal parts, spot weld layouts, flanges, beads, embosses, and joining concepts.
- Perform packaging, clearance, and interference checks.
- Apply GD&T;, tolerance stack-up, and design validation principles.
- Support feasibility studies, cost reduction, weight optimization, and product release activities.
- Coordinate with CAE, manufacturing, tooling, and cross-functional teams throughout the vehicle development cycle.
