- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain integration flows (iFlows) using SAP Integration Suite on SAP BTP (CPI), API Management, Event Mesh, and SAP PI/PO 7.5 Single Stack.
- Provide end-to-end technical support in an AMS environment including incident management, service requests, defect resolution, root cause analysis (RCA), and interface debugging in line with agreed service levels.
- Manage B2B/EDI and A2A integrations (including EDIFACT, ANSI X12, and XML)
over secure protocols (AS2, SFTP, VANs, HTTPS, APIs) for global EDI onboarding and 3PL/carrier integration.
- Conduct technical impact analysis, unit testing, and regression testing to ensure quality delivery of interface changes, enhancements, and custom Groovy scripting.
- Monitor CPI iFlows, PI/PO channels, IDocs, ABAP Proxies, API traffic, queues, and background scheduling frameworks to ensure operational continuity.
- Support migration activities of legacy SAP PI/PO interfaces to SAP Integration Suite on BTP and participate in custom interface remediation.
- Collaborate with Functional Consultants (across SD, FI, MM, PP, BW, O2C, MTO, and Logistics domains), Basis, Security, and external suppliers to resolve cross-system issues.
- Maintain comprehensive integration documentation, mapping standards, naming conventions, and operational runbooks to support governance and knowledge sharing.
Critical Experiences and Skills
- Bachelors or Master’s degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in building, troubleshooting, and tuning end-to-end integration flows using SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI), SAP Cloud Connector, Groovy Scripting, REST/SOAP APIs, and legacy SAP PI/PO 7.5 platforms.
- Strong technical expertise in SAP BTP Integration Suite, Cloud Integration (CPI), API Management, Event Mesh, and Cloud Connector configurations.
- Extensive experience with SAP integration protocols and technical objects including IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, ABAP Proxies, OAuth, SSL Certificates, and IAS/IPS security.
- Experience in B2B/EDI integrations, handling EDI standards (EDIFACT, ANSI X12, XML) and external 3PL/WMS/carrier integrations.
- Experience working in a global application maintenance support or production support environment including stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong understanding of SAP functional domain dependencies and logistical processes, particularly Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Make-to-Order (MTO).
- Valuable understanding of non-SAP integration platforms (e.g., IBM Sterling, Boomi, MuleSoft) and exposure to AI tools like SAP Joule is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- SAP Integration Suite certification is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a global, complex and highly integrated business environment.
Grading Differentiators
- Good knowledge of SAP Integration architecture, BTP services, security models, and ITIL-aligned incident management practices.
