IT Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Work Time: 10 AM-7 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer to manage and support our IT infrastructure, including servers, virtualization, networking, and cloud environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in infrastructure management, troubleshooting, automation, and vendor coordination.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain physical and virtual servers using Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and VLANs.
- Support cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Perform system monitoring, patch management, backup and recovery, and security administration.
- Develop automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar technologies.
- Collaborate with Engineering, QA, Operations, and Business teams on infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with vendors for technical support, procurement, and issue resolution.
- Maintain technical documentation and provide regular infrastructure status reports.





Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux servers, networking, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of scripting or programming languages.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Positive communication skills in English are mandatory.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation tools.
- Relevant certifications in Networking, Cloud Computing, or Virtualization technologies.
- Experience supporting lab, testing, or enterprise environments.
