About The Role As a Hardware Engineer at Qualcomm, you will play a pivotal role in the development and verification of complex electronic systems that power next-generation devices and solutions. This position involves planning, designing, optimizing, verifying, and testing a variety of hardware components, including circuits, mechanical systems, and integrated modules such as digital, analog, RF, and optical systems.

Your responsibilities will extend to bringing-up yields, testing equipment, FPGA, DSP systems, and packaging processes to ensure the delivery of world-class products. Collaboration with cross-functional teams—including design, verification, and system integration—is essential to meet performance standards and innovate continuously. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field, with at least 4 years of relevant hardware engineering experience. Candidates with a Master's degree and 3+ years of experience or a PhD with 2+ years of experience are also encouraged to apply.

Essential skills include a strong background in hardware design, verification, and testing, with proficiency in industry-standard simulation tools and scripting languages. Leadership experience, either formal or informal, will be considered an advantage, along with familiarity with power-aware simulation, camera verification, and bus protocols like AHB, AXI, and ARM architectures. Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, a proactive approach to verification, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for the comprehensive verification of IP-level modules, particularly Qualcomm's Spectra Camera Subsystems, ensuring the modules meet the highest standards of performance and feature enhancement. Your duties will include developing and executing verification plans, creating and maintaining testbench environments using SystemVerilog and UVM methodologies, and analyzing coverage metrics to identify and address gaps.

You will independently own the verification process end-to-end, collaborating closely with design, system, and verification teams to troubleshoot issues, debug RTL, and implement improvements. Additionally,



you will contribute to the development of verification strategies involving firmware/emulation tools like Veloce and GLS, and ensure compliance with bus protocols and system architecture specifications. Your expertise will support the continuous enhancement of verification methodologies, enabling Qualcomm to deliver innovative and reliable hardware products.
